Program Introduction
The Applied Chemistry major of our school is one of the earliest major petroleum majors established by the school. It recruited undergraduate students at the beginning of the establishment of Beijing Petroleum Institute, and it is also the first batch of disciplines to recruit doctoral students in the school. This major was authorized as a master's program in 1981, and as a doctoral program in the first-level discipline "Chemical Engineering and Technology" in 1983, with applied chemistry as its second-level discipline. In 2010, it became a special major construction site of the Ministry of Education, and in 2019, it was approved as a national first-class undergraduate major construction site.

Application Requirements:
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, no more than 25 years old, in good health, and have no criminal record.
2. Have a high school diploma，GPA≧3.0/5.0
3. Chinese taught programs: HSK 4 ( 180 or above )
HSK4≥222 (for Bachelor Program Scholarship Application)
4. Applicants must be under the age of 25 when applying

2. Notarized copies of your highest level degree certificates and transcripts
3. Non-criminal record
4. Physical Examination Form ( with all laboratory and X-ray reports ) taken not more than six months prior to admission
